Hadleys Hope - File Description  


Description:
This is yet another hadleys hope recreation from the movie aliens, but this one is different i desided to recreate the outside of the colony, the map includes all weapons, including the sniper rifle frown (but it is a little challenge to obtain it involves hacking and the welding torch)

altho the map rains it wil not uncloak preds which is a good thing (i fort it would be unfair on them if it did)

the map isnt 100% accurate but is close enuf, i missed out some of the stuff outside the north entrance because of the process time was getting to long

this is my first map and doesn't lack quality i spent alot of time making it
the map also extends inside a bit
this map works with game modes dm team dm and survivor

This is a recreation of hadleys hope from aliens, but this one is different its the outside :D (and varios parts inside)

INSTALLATION:

Go to your avp2 directory eg. C:/Program files/fox/aliens vs. predator 2/

1.
When here, create a new folder, call this folder 'maps'
open the new folder 'maps', when in there create a folder called 'worlds'
open the new folder 'worlds' and create a folder called 'multi'
and then finally open the folder 'multi' and create a new folder called 'DM'


extract/unzip the folder Dm_hadleys_Hope.zip

Copy the file 'Dm_hadleys_hope.dat' and place it into the 'DM folder you just made 'C:\program files\fox\Aliens vs. Predator 2\maps\worlds\multi\dm'

Start the game up, but dont play, go to options and type the command line in -rez maps
and there we go all done now enjoy playing the new map!

note:
This map is also not very sniper friendly (:D we all like to here that) to get the sniper rifle you must find a hacking device then all the ammo for it is sealed in special ammo boxes which you need to use the welding torch on)
