Description:
click the ump2 updater v1.exe
It will ask you to agree with the terms and conditions of the install.
if you decide to install the pack enjoy 23 new maps.
This will keep your UMP2 updated and recent with game servers.
I will make more updated packs as new levels are released.
all the readme notes are included in the new ump2 folder called **read me notes**
I put all the mappers notes there.
second new folder contains free Eds for dedit. **free eds**
I ran a test on my own server had no trouble with the install
If your not happy with this or have trouble want to remove the update click the Uninstaller is included.
you will find it in the ump2 folder.

Posts: 175 | I will be doing more updates soon as more maps(levels) come available.
updater v2.exe will have 10 maps will be out in 2-3 weeks.
so far the pack now has only
5 maps it size is about 80mb will be 150mb prox when its done.
new maps so far is:

I don't get something.
I have been waiting to ask you this for a LOOONG time.
What, in God's name, compelled you to make a map pack that had 6 extremely HORRIBLE maps for every 1 good map?
I swear, some of the stuff you think is "ultimate" is nothing more than a half-arsed mapping project. There's no playability in some of these maps!
If you had kept in all the good maps and left out all the crappy ones, UMP2 wouldn't be HALF the massive size it is.
Why did you feel the need? It eats up my free space! |

1. some guys n gals like nutty maps
2.Most maps i get are just rounded up from avp2 community and is almost Nil of mappers here I say take what ya can get its free if its a crappy map so what DELETE
3.maps you dont like delete the dats from the dm folder ump2 will still be ok .
4.There is some new mappers give them a chance. maps will never be perfect
the first time unless you had lots experience. give these mappers a try.
5. I do my best giving all what they need free I dont get paid for this its a hobbie
so be glad you have a simple way to get new maps and test em out.
PS:
updater v2 is coming out next week so you better make more room
its about 150-200 mb approx

Posts: 175 | always check at http://www.avp2maps.com for late updates and fixes for these packs
I will post information when I find out any minor or major problems
There is a few fixes to date so visit my site for instructions look under
downloads I posted info on both updates v1 and v2. just a few files unneeded to delete. sound and texture files.
Your ump2 pack will be ok so its safe to delete the files under my instructions.
Last note:
after V3 hopefully 00
will do a final UMP3 mappack

we found these later sorry but there is Two textures that can be deleted from ump2 after this first update look in FOXALIEN vs PREDATOR 2UMP2 or MAPS WORLD TEXTURESFLOOR_CEILING
This will Fix overlapping problems if your running maps on servers and the vents look messed up or shiny this will fix that.
DELETE THESE TWO TEXTURES --MTL7B_GRATE and MTL7D_GRATE
